Pence Commends President's Decision to Provide Federal Assistance for Tornado Victims

U.S. Congressman Mike Pence issued the following statement today regarding the president's decision to approve federal assistance for state and local governments as well as certain non-profit organizations in Clark, Jefferson, Ripley, Scott and Washington Counties as a result of the recent tornadoes and severe storms:

"So many Hoosiers are hurting and have not only lost loved ones, but also have lost houses, businesses and schools in the deadly tornadoes earlier this month," said Pence. "I am pleased and grateful for the president's decision to provide federal assistance for those who were affected by the recent tornadoes and severe storms. We must continue to do everything we can to help our friends and neighbors in southern Indiana."
